LT Studio are excited to be involved in creating a new vibrant and dynamic quarter in the heart of Bristol, promoting sustainable living whilst bringing increased activity, health and wellbeing to this area.
The ambitious redevelopment proposals for The Galleries shopping district seeks to completely transform this area and create an imaginative mixed-use development that includes: restaurants, shops, community and leisure facilities as well as open market, affordable and student housing. The new scheme will form direct connections between Castle Park and Broadmead through the site and across Newgate and will create a balance of amenities to support the day and night time economy as well as supporting the local community. There is substantial evidence to that shows a strong link between access to nature and green space and good health. Provisions for access to green space have been sensitively considered as has the arrangement of buildings and external spaces to promote engagement with the City.
This inspiring project will deliver robust, thoughtful and intelligent public realm spaces that will benefit the local community and the wider redevelopment of the city centre.
